No matter what time I come home from work, I am starving and in need of a quick afternoon snack to hold me over until dinner is ready. The boys are the same way and are even asking for a snack on the ride home. I try to stay away from things that aren’t nutritional like cookies but I don’t always have something in the house that makes perfect afternoon snacks. I am so glad I got the chance to review the Tyson any’tizers boneless chicken wyngz.
Tyson has released 2 new flavors of the any’tizers boneless chicken wyngz: Sweet Garlic Glazed & Mango Habanero. Although we loved the Mango Habanero and thought that it would taste delicious in a quesadilla, we chose to use the sweet garlic wyngz instead. Why? Well, if we planned on sharing the quesadillas with the boys, spicy isn’t something they like. Making them also only added another couple of minutes to your cook time so no spending hourse in the kitchen when you can have a quick snack in a couple of minutes.
Sweet Garlic Chicken Quesadillas
Ingredients:
- Tyson Any’tizers sweet garlic boneless chicken wyngz (or your favorite flavor)
- Tortillas
- cheese
- your own personal toppings (I like to put cream cheese on my quesadillas)
Directions:
Prepare your boneless wings as directed and let cool.
Cut chicken chunks into bite size (or smaller) peices.
Place a tortilla on a skillet. Add cheese and chicken peices. Fold over top. Let warm for about 3 minutes then flip to other side. When finished, place on a plate and cut into peices. Garnish with your favorite personal toppings.
So what do you think? Try it with other flavors as well, it gives the quesadilla a different taste anytime, jazzing it up. If you are looking for some tasty chicken to spice up your snacks, make sure to check out the other Tyson flavors! These 2 new flavors are now available at Walmart! Here is my google + story of my shopping experience. You can also follow Tyson on Facebook or twitter.
