Everyone has their own routine from the time they get up, to the time they go to bed. The older you are, the harder it is to change that routine, don’t you think? This is why its so important to teach a “clean routine” when starting potty training. Thanks to Cottonelle, we are working on teaching Noah the routine with the help of Hayden.
We have always used Cottonelle as a family so finding out about the great deal at Target was icing on the cake. Right now, you can get the 18 pack of toilet paper for $10. If you buy 2, you can get the wet wipe dispenser for free. Perfect for our household even though we’ve never had 36 rolls of toilet paper in our house at once. I still don’t know where I’ll be hiding the second pack.
How we use our Cottonelle Clean in our care routine
Having a place to store all your extras is the first step in my household. Make sure you have a place close to one of your bathrooms that you can store them in. Also, don’t put them too high just in case you need one of your short people to get a roll for you. I learned that the hard way.
We place our wet wipes on the back of the toilet for easy reach. Not only can you get them, but it is low enough for small hands to reach as well. This brings me to another point: Make sure your little ones learn how to remove the wipes and why they shouldn’t take a ton of them. This is something that we definitely make sure Noah knows, because he’s been known to empty a pack of baby wipes onto the floor in seconds.
The wipes and toilet paper aren’t just for the use you would think they are for. I’ve used both the wet and dry wipes for make up and while I’m doing my hair. They both help keep my face clear of things that shouldn’t be on it like hair moisturizer and gel. I use those daily so it comes in handy to have something that can wipe them away quickly. Don’t judge me in the photo… wiping on sweat isn’t pretty.
Since Noah is potty training, we are slowly teaching him the importance of using toilet paper and wet wipes. We’ve decided to decorate our wipes container with potty stickers as a reward for him using the bathroom. Reward stickers helped Hayden potty train and we’re hoping that Noah has the same motivation that Hayden did.
You can follow Cottonelle on Twitter or Facebook or you can walk with me through Target as I picked up the deal on my google + album.
