I participated in this program on behalf of Champions for Kids and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
Did you know that 16 million American children live in poverty? Its a big number to swallow. Some of these kids don’t have access to nutritious meals that will help them thrive and succeed both academically and socially. Some communities are making strides to help the situation: Here in Columbus, Columbus Public School have made both breakfast and lunch free for all families. I’m always looking for opportunities to give and am thankful to hear about Champions for Kids.
I love the core values of Champions for Kids: All children should have: Someone who cares; a Place to belong; Hope for tomorrow and provisions for their journey. All children. They believe that helping others doesn’t have to come in large doses. They seek to foster a “habit of giving” among youth and their parents in America. This is why I’m challenging all my followers to be Hunger Heroes!
How do you become a Hunger Hero?
Throughout the month of August, Champions for Kids, Tyson Foods, and KRAFT Foods can help you “Be a Hunger Hero” at Sam’s Club by purchasing any of these products at Sam’s Club, Tyson® Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets 5 lb. bag, KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner 7.25 oz., 12 pack or CAPRI SUN Juice Drink Variety Pack – 40 pouches, and help feed a child in need. The awesome thing about it is that I already buy all the things on the list. Heading out to buy things that I already purchase makes it easy. And you get to help children. What’s not to love?
