I’ve officially hit the 3rd trimester this week. My appetite has increased just a little and I’m starting to feel tired more often… again. I’ve done my best to keep stress away.. which isn’t completely possible but I’m doing my best. I’m also trying to spend as much fun time with my boys as I can because with a new baby coming, I want to make sure my boys know they can still have fun with me.
There are a bunch of things that I want to make sure are done before the baby arrives. Some things I’ve done before and others are new because we just moved. I wanted to share because these are things I’ll be covering the next couple of months on the blog and of course, wanted to get my readers’ input just in case there is something else you’d like to know.
So this is the first time we’ve had the chance to actually paint before the baby arrives. For one: we own this house…we can do with it what we please. We were allowed to paint before but had to paint it back before we moved so there was no point. The plan is to post a before and after but we want to make sure we picked the paint and possibly add a little more to the room before posting. Yeah, I’m a little bit of a perfectionist.
Prep the diapers
For those of you who haven’t followed me for a while, I cloth diapered Noah part time. I couldn’t do it full time because his babysitter didn’t agree to it. Now that I work at home, I can cloth diaper full time and work without having to worry about it. I’ve grown to really love Applecheeks brand so that’s mostly what I have. I’m excited to share my experience with them especially since I’ll be able to cloth diaper full time this time.
Work out the car seat situation
This isn’t a major situation… Hayden is old enough and big enough to not have to use a car seat anymore. However, Noah still needs a booster seat. I don’t have the largest car and don’t plan on trading in my car within the next couple of years. So I need to make sure I can fit 3 kids into the back seat. Of course we need to have the car seat first to figure it out but we’re almost there.
Anything else you recommend for me? I’ve been through this twice already so the basics are covered but I’m sure there is more I can do to be ready for my little girl. I’m excited!
