I don’t know about you, but we grill all the time every summer. This year was a little bit different because at the beginning of the summer, we didn’t have a working grill. Or at least one we wanted to grill on. So, we invested in a gas grill and haven’t looked back. My husband loves how quick it is to set up and I love how easy it is for me to use.
Thanks to Johnsonville, we enjoy a variety of meats. No more getting bored with the basics of hamburgers and hotdogs. My husband is a bratwurst guy…. I love the apple flavored chicken sausages. The boys will pretty much eat whatever we grill but they are pretty much happy with hotdogs so we keep them in the house. Check out this infographic from Johnsonville called the Sausage Report:
Thank you to Johnsonville for allowing me to share this recipe. Try it! My husband loves it.
Brat Hot Tub
- 1 large (11-inch x 9-inch x 2 3/8-inch) aluminum foil baking pan
- 2 to 3 cans (12 ounces each) beer
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium yellow or white onion, sliced
- Johnsonville® Brats
Directions
- Put the pan right on the grill, being careful not to singe your knuckle hair. Pour in the beer, and add the butter and onions.
- Grill your Johnsonville Brats to a juicy, golden-brown perfection.
- Serve immediately and place any remaining brats into the steaming hot tub.
