The holidays are here! Can’t you feel it?

This time of the year calls for lots of shopping but also plenty of food and fun. As always, we rely on Sam’s club for some of our essentials for the holidays. I can normally find exactly what I need without having to search too hard. That includes drinks and snacks.

Our family loves Simply Beverages® and why wouldn’t we? The Simply Orange® is never sweetened, concentrated or frozen. It goes perfectly with a big breakfast. We love the Simply Lemonade® as well. It is an all-natural lemonade with no added preservatives colors or artificial flavors. Sam’s club offers both in 2 packs, which is perfect!

Simply Cocktail
This year, I decided to make a special cocktail with both Simply Beverages® to serve at our next holiday function. I’m the one who always brings (or has) a bottle of wine on hand but why not make a great cocktail instead? Paired with the Member’s Mark® Unsalted premium nut blend, it’s sure to be a winner. The recipe includes tequila and prosecco but isn’t overly alcoholic. Try the Simply Tequila Cocktail with Prosecco, let me know what you think!

Simply Tequila Cocktail with Prosecco

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup Simply Orange® (chilled)
  • 1 1/4 cup Simply Lemonade® (chilled)
  • 1/ cup Tequila
  • 1 1/4 cup chilled Prosecco

Instructions

  1. Mix fruit juices in a shaker and strain to remove small pieces of lemons.
  2. Add Tequila and Prosecco.
  3. Carefully pour into a prepared glass. Stemless wine glasses work well.

Simply Cocktail
I can’t wait to see how the family likes them. The lemonade and orange juice mix well and the prosecco and tequila don’t overpower the flavors. You can also adjust the amount of everything just in case you like more of an orange taste or of the lemonade. I enjoy lemonade so I may have added an extra splash to my cup.
