I am thankful to be working with the New Albany Classic and have received tickets to attend this year’s classic. No other compensation has been received. All opinions are my own.
Last year, I was reintroduced to the New Albany Classic. I had heard about it before but never been. My family and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to make sure that we attended as many years as we could.
The New Albany Classic isn’t just about Family Fun.
Wondering how this event has raised money for the Center for Family Safety and Healing?
To date, The Classic has raised $30 million to support the work of The Center for Family Safety and Healing from corporate, foundation and individual sponsors as well as from ticket purchases. The event typically draws between 15,000-18,000 guests. The event generated $800,000 in 1998, and support for the cause has grown each year since. In 2016, over $1.7 million was raised for The Center for Family Safety and Healing.
The Center for Family Safety and Healing does something that is very close to my heart. I personally wasn’t a victim of domestic violence but it did affect my family. I was young when it happened and am very happy that she was able to get out of it. But it happens more often than people know. I’m excited to be helping a place that anyone can go to for help if they see themselves in this situation.
