Every once in a while, everyone needs to remember safe driving. While the amount of car accidents are going down, there are still way too many car accidents happening in our cities. Car accidents are still one of the top killers of people and it needs to stop. Follow some of these safety tips and save a life.
Don’t drive drunk or drowsy:
That should be a given but it isn’t always. If you’ve been drinking, you aren’t always in the right state of mind to be getting behind the wheel. Same goes for being drowsy. It only takes a second to fall asleep behind the wheel and you could cause an accident.
Avoid Distractions:
Put your phone away, turn down your music and limit the amount of conversation while driving. It just takes one glance off the road to cause an accident. Make sure your main concentration is the road.Using a Bluetooth like the one in Chevy Cruze sold by the Chevy Choice, will help your concentration.
Be Careful in Bad Weather:
You would think this would be a given as well but not everyone drives safer when the weather is bad. Maybe you think your car can handle it, or maybe it’s something else. Either way, you never are 100% sure that you have full control of your car when the roads are bad.
Watch out for the other guy:
This is why you should always drive carefully. You never know what the other person might do because you aren’t them. Stay a safe distance back and away just in case.
Keep your vehicle Safe:
Make sure you keep up on your car… changing the tires, doing oil changes, making sure there is wiper fluid in the car. Do your share to keep our roads safe.
