Small change is still change

May 3, 2017 by Ashley T

This is a post sponsored by Nutrisystem. I am part of the #NsNation Blogger program. All opinions are my own.

Three weeks down and it only gets easier.

I have to tell you though, this is the longest I’ve ever been on a diet of any type. I don’t like restricting what I can eat but I made this a priority and have stuck to it and think I am doing pretty well.

Last week, I was walking into my bathroom to do my hair and noticed my side view. I’m used to seeing a couple of lumps… basically lines of fat that travel from my front to back. It has only been 3 weeks so no, it isn’t gone but it looks so much more different than it used it. It has been keeping me motivated to lose even more!

week 3 Nutrisystem

I lost some fat in my back! I don’t really have any pictures for reference (because I try to avoid that) but I’m starting to feel more comfortable in tighter clothes. I’m starting to feel more comfortable. While I do focus on the weight a little more than I want to, I haven’t been checking inches every week. I think I will every couple of weeks or so. Be sure to check that next week.

Do I have anything I measure up to?

I try not to compare myself to others. But I do have this pair of jeans in my closet that I’ve never worn. Got them when a store was closing and knew at some point I’d be able to get into them. I’m excited about that.

I always want to report that it isn’t as hard as you would think it is to keep going. With the right motivation not only from yourself but from those closest to you, you can keep to the plan and do it well. My weight loss is still good (about the same as last week) and as long as I’m losing and not gaining, I’m happy.
