The new me…. 16 weeks later

August 3, 2017 by Ashley T

This is a post sponsored by Nutrisystem. I am a part of the #NsNation Blogger Program. All opinions are my own.

On April 10th, 2017, I started my Nutrisystem journey. I went from eating my favorite meals (because I had to the weekend before I wasn’t allowed), to eating specific foods specific times during the day. I started drinking more water. My need for coffee was put on the back burner as I had to watch how much cream I used and I stopped having sugar.

It took me a little while but I found a sugar substitute that I liked and got to keep my coffee. I even cooked Easter dinner for my family and didn’t taste test or have a plate, which was super hard.

However, I push through and won out in the end.

week 16
Yes, I had some slip-ups. Yes, it was hard and yes, I wanted to quit a couple of times. But I didn’t. I pushed myself until I made it as close to my goal as I could. I didn’t hit my goal sadly but came super close. Seriously, all I need is 2 more pounds and I’ll be under 150 like I wanted.

UPDATE ON MY WEIGHT LOSS (AS OF MONDAY, JULY 17TH)

CURRENT WEIGHTLOSS THIS WEEK ON NUTRISYSTEM: 1.8 LBS

TOTAL WEIGHTLOSS OVERALL: 34.4 LBS

ORIGINAL WEIGHT: 186.2 LBS. CURRENT WEIGHT: 151.8 LBS

So, what is my plan from here on out?

To try and keep working out and to just move a little bit more than I do. This may be easier said than done (because I work behind a computer) but I’m trying. I plan on watching what I eat… not necessarily dieting but consciously not eating a ton of calories or something that will push me severely over the calorie limit. This is one of my favorite meals. Fills me up and not a ton of calories!

portabello mushroom pizza
Yes, Portobello Mushroom Pizza! This one only had spinach on it so it was really healthy. Thank you so much, Nutrisystem, for helping me achieve my goals and change my eating habits. I am going to remember this forever.

I also am working hard to lose weight and I had thought of trying Nutrisystem out but haven't so far. Which doesn't mean I won't one day. Good luck with your goals and moving more as that is one thing I also have to work on.
