If you just purchased a new (or used) car, congratulations! Hope you got what you wanted. While you are breaking in your new car, start thinking about where you want to take your car when you get it serviced.
Is that something on your mind right now?
Not always, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make a plan. Some dealerships offer a package to include in your loan so that you know exactly what the plan is when you need service. It details what it covers and for how long. I love that the option is available! No extra money to plan for and you are good up to a certain point.
If that isn’t in your plan, how do you decide? Yes, you do have a choice. If you are thinking about going back to the dealership, you can check the dealer’s customer reviews. This goes for any dealership. You want to make sure you take the car somewhere you’ll like and other people haven’t had a problem with as well.
Another advantage of taking it to a dealership is the deals they have. The website will give you their current deals but most places also use direct mail for coupons. I’m sure I’m not the only one how gets excited when they get a coupon for an oil change in the mail. I mean, I love to save money and that’s a perfect way to get me to use your place.
It is also your decision whether or not you’ll be taking it to the dealership. There are other places you can take your car, as long as you do your research. Keep track of when everything is done for warranty purposes and you’ll be fine. They also may send out coupons so check your mailbox or email for deals.
Remember, this is your decision. Decide what you want to do about your car’s service and get that deal!
