Since I’ve had the Samsung Galaxy 3 for almost 3 months now, I’ve been playing around with the free apps that you can buy in the Android market. As you may know, my current phone is an iPhone but before I had the iPhone, I had another Android phone. Since it was an older phone.. maybe one of the first Android phones that had been released, I knew about the phones but didn’t have much to go buy. So here are my top apps… this list doesn’t include Facebook for one reason.. I’m always on Facebook so it would totally be my number 1 opened app on any phone.
Netflix– Netflix has saved my life more than once. My youngest son hates being in once spot without being entertained so we love how this phone makes it so easy to pull up a movie or TV show so he can be happy. He’s learned how to turn it off so that’s a challenge but he loves it.
TweetCaster- I use TweetCaster to send out an tweets related with my blog. It remembers my previous searches and helps me keep up to date. I also get alerts when someone mentions me. I was so happy to have this app when I was at the BB summit. I could see all the tweets during the conference and could have it load as fast as I wanted.
WordPress– Since my blog is on wordpress, I love having the option of being able to check my blog while out and about. You can see your stats, write a post, and approve blog comments right in your hand.
Instagram– I am a photo taker, even though I haven’t posted as many pictures as I would like to lately. I think I upload pictures to instagram more often than I do to Facebook. Either way, I love how the app will alert you if there are any comments left, keeping you up to date on what people think of your pictures. Thanks to Kristi of Live and Love Out Loud, I’ve found some photo editing apps that I must try!
