As I said last week, I am a woman who needs a quick tasty recipe to feed my family whenever I have the chance. My crock pot has become my best friend. But the only day I have to try a new recipe is Sunday (so I have time to gather the ingredients and change something if needed) so most of my new recipes will be posted on Monday or Tuesday. And yes, we love mushrooms so this recipe was enhanced with more mushrooms then the original recipe. But I did list options to change for your taste. Any suggestions are welcome, I’m open to change anything. Anyway, here it is: Creamy Crock Pot Chicken over Noodles.

makes 6 servings

Ingredients:
- 1 bag dry onion soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 10 ¾ oz can cream of mushroom soup (or chicken soup if you don’t love mushrooms)
- 1 small can of mushrooms (optional)
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts- cut in half (for 6 pieces)
- 1 bag of extra wide egg noodles
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in crock pot and mix into a sauce
Add the chicken halves, pressing them into the sauce making sure they are covered.
Cook on low for 8 hours covered (or 4 hours on high)
Once the crock pot is done, boil the noodles until al-dente.
Serve.

That looks really good! I love my crock-pot. Anything I can alter to be made in the crock-pot, will be made in it. It’s so much easier and less time consuming.
Yum I love easy chicken recipes! And mushrooms too.
Love that this is so do-able and looks yummy. Pinning to try this once I stash up on some soup 😉
This recipe has some of my faves. I like mushrooms in almost any recipe. Crockpots are our friends. Thanks!
The crock pot & so few ingredients! love it! I’ll be trying this recipe soon.
How much does this serving for six cost at the grocery store?
I paid about $6 for everything not including the chicken. I buy my chicken in 3 lb bags for about $7. I would say it was about $10 for the 6 servings.
Yummy, easy and cheap – love it!
I make a recipe similar to this but I need to try this variation! YUM!
I love using onion soup for meals made in the crockpot. For my family it just adds that extra layer of flavor.
