I hate the fact that I make a list, check it twice, head to the grocery store and STILL forget to buy my boys the applesauce they love so much. The boys basically could eat a cup of applesause or yogurt with every meal. But for some reason, mom keeps forgetting to pick it up. So I finally made the decision to just make them some. Its a very simple recipe, and you know exactly what’s going into their food. Best of all, they love it. I combined a couple of different recipes together and adjusted based on how it came out so make it your own and tell me how you like it. And here is the recipe for Cinnamon Applesauce.

Ingredients:
- 12 diced apples (peeled and cored)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 cup apples juice (optional)
Directions:
Add all ingredients into the crockpot. Only use the apple juice if you’d like it to be thinner.. or not as chunky. You can also add the apple juice later.
Turn the crock pot on low and let cook for 5 hours. You can stir occasionally but it isn’t nessesary.
Blend in a mixer until it is the consistancy you enjoy. If you like it smooth, you can use a food processor.
Enjoy warm or leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to cool.
