Prom season is coming!
Its been about 13 years since my prom (yes don’t tell anyone) but I still remember most of it like it was yesterday. I had the most perfect dress picked out for like 2 years. I got my hair and nails done with my friends. Although I didn’t have a date, I had so much fun and got to spend time with my friends which is all I really wanted.
How was it possible that I had my prom dress picked out so early? Websites! I saw the dress I wanted in a magazine and found the website so I could order it. It happened to be a website like JenJenHouse (that sells plenty of dresses including prom dresses). I just went to a link like http://www.jenjenhouse.com/Prom-Dresses-c18/ and found one that I loved and ordered it. It was delivered to my house within a week and I had to have my mom hem it up a little bit so it would fit. If I was on my way to my next prom (hehehe) I would totally pick something like this to head out it. Cause you know I’m a princess.
It feels good to look back on those days when I was tiny, living with my mother, and had no idea how my life would turn out. Its amazing that you make so many plans when your a teenager and then life happens. I never knew I’d be here, I never knew who I’d marry. I never knew I would have 2 beautiful boys that call me mom. All I remember is thinking about the next thing I would buy with my paycheck and when I could hang out with my friends. Priorities change. So just make sure you are ready for them.
