Mother’s day is just around the corner. I’m a mom, I make sure I know what day it is (and remind my family). I like to believe that this day (just like my birthday) is something special that I get to share with my family… and maybe have an hour or 2 to myself. This year, I wanted to make Mother’s day not only special for me but for my mom as well. I’m happy to say that I found a new tool to help with that at Walmart that includes offers one of the Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans available.

If you haven’t heard already, Walmart #FamilyMobile offers an inexpensive way to get yourself and others in your family cell phones. The Walmart Family mobile Plan offers Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web on as many lines as you would like. I walked into Walmart and headed back to the electronics area of the store. The phones ended up being near the photo area right on the end cap. Need to read up on the plan? Its all right there for you. All you have to do after that is pick up the phone you want, grab a starter kit and get it activated.

I bought the Alcatel One Touch Evolve phone and activated it when I got home. Its super easy to set up and everything is done online. As soon as it is activated, you can put in the sim card and it works right away. I was able to use the web, call or text as soon as it was on. You just pay $39.88 for the first line ($29.88 if you remove the unlimited web).

This phone, with all its unlimitedness (yeah I said it) is perfect for the boys. I won’t allow either of them to have their own phones but sometimes they want to chat on the phone with their grandmas or cousins and I don’t want them to have my phone for an extended period of time. So how awesome it is that they can now text and call their grandmas all by themselves for Mother’s day? Noah is still learning everything else about phones but he sure knows how to talk.

I also took the time to order some flowers for the special moms in my life. My husband and I are lucky enough to have both of our mothers alive and well so of course we need to show our support for them whenever we get the chance.
