AMC Theatres remodeled with you in mind!

When is the last time you went to the movies?

For us, it has been a while… I mean going to see a movie for pleasure. Between finding a sitter for Olivia and finding something we can all agree on, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. But that doesn’t mean we don’t go.

When picking a theater, we always choose AMC Theatres. We’re lucky to live the closest to AMC Easton. Did you hear the theatre was remodeled? I was excited to check it out. Look below for the new amenities that they offer!

I remember when we sat in the smaller seats when I was younger and now, my children don’t have to worry about that. Not only will they have plenty of room to stretch out in their seat, but the seat can also be reclined. So we chose to take the boys with us to check it out.

We chose a Sunday movie at 11 am so that we could have lunch and also enjoy the movie. Which movie, you ask? Despicable Me 3. We picked our seats, paid for our tickets and headed up to the theater. Look at how awesome these seats look! So comfy and the boys loved them as well. Hayden complained a little about not being about the see the bottom of the screen but he didn’t once the movie started.

Our order was taken and we got our meals shortly after the movie started. They were quick and efficient. Our waiter was a little bit busy though so we didn’t get our drinks right away. He was great though and helped out when we needed it.

Only complaint: the trays were a little too high for the boys. They managed though and didn’t complain, it was just an observation for me. Both boys loved how comfortable the seats were and begged to schedule another movie day at AMC Easton. I think I can handle that.

In case you are wondering, the Dine-in feature is pretty affordable, about as much as you’d pay at a family restaurant. However, you don’t have to eat the food. You are welcome to bring in snacks like a normal movie theater or order them from the waiter.
