My son Hayden loves to build things. Especially when he gets to spend the time with his dad, building things and understanding them. We got the chance to review an item from Eitech before and Hayden loved it so when I was asked to do another review, I jumped at the chance. Hayden is older now so can do a lot of it on his own but he loved having the chance to have his father do the work with him.
Eitech sent us the basic mini jeep construction set. It is more of a beginner set since Hayden is 6 but it wasn’t something he could do on his own. However, he got to spend some special time with his father so he was happy.I love watching them put these together because Hayden tries to figure it out by himself while Paul is very direction oriented and doesn’t like to skip ahead. Makes everything interesting.
I think the best thing about this set is that they get to work together while putting it together. There were times when Paul would ask Hayden to hold something or he’d like Hayden screw a part in while he held the pieces together. It helps Hayden learn teamwork. I want to say it took them about 20 minutes to put it together, which includes Paul haven’t to take something apart because Hayden connected it backwards. They both enjoyed putting it together and both Hayden and Noah love to play with it.
