Yesterday was Hayden and Noah's last day of school. Hayden is headed towards the 3rd grade.. if you live in Ohio, you know what's an important grade. He has to deal with the Reading OAA. The reading OAA is the Grade 3 Reading Ohio Achievement Assessment. As of this past school year, a student must reach at least a 394 on this test to be able to move on to the 4th grade. While I'm not extremely worried about him passing this test, I know children who have been left behind because of it. Plus, ... View the Post
Hayden and the picky eater challenge with Chipotle
The post is sponsored by Chipotle. This family received coupons towards a meal. No other compensation was given. All opinions below are my own. Hayden has always been the most pickiest eater in the house. For a while, all we could get him to eat were hotdogs, chicken nuggets (with french fries of course) and a couple different kinds of cereal. I'm so glad that now since he's 8 years old, he's been "trying" to overcome his pickines and try things again. Its not an easy task for a kid, but he's ... View the Post
Oh how I love my minion
As everyone knows, tomorrow happens to be Halloween. However, here in Columbus (to make sure the kids are safe) we actually do the "trick or treat" tonight. I talked about this last year and am still thankful that Columbus wants to protect the city's children so we always have it during the week. This past weekend, we headed to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to participate in "Boo at the Zoo". Its the perfect time to wear their costumes, be able to see other kids and what they are wearing and ... View the Post
October is meant for Pumpkins!
Last year I wrote a post about how we went to Lynd's Farm to pick our own pumpkins. We loved it so much that we did it again this year with my husband in tow. My favorite part of visiting Lynd's Farms is that we get to pick our own pumpkins. They have fields spread out with tons of pumpkins in different sizes and sometimes you have to search for the perfect pumpkin for you. We normally let the boys choose their own pumpkins and then we get just 1 for my husband and I... totalling to 3 ... View the Post
Weekly Love Letters- week 17
This week happens to be the first week of school. The reason I didn't post the Weekly Love Letters yesterday was because today is Noah's first day at Preschool... I wanted to include 2 pictures this week. One is of Hayden's first day of the Second grade and the other is Noah's first day of half day Preschool. I'm so proud of both of my boys. They both are super excited to be in school and I can't blame them. Hayden misses his friends so he's been asking to go back to school since last week. ... View the Post
Is spring here to stay?
Happy Monday! We had another nice spring day last week. We're back to cold and possible snow tonight. Anyone want to send spring my way? I'm thankful that starting Thursday, we have at least a week of 50-60s! So expect more pictures whenever I get the chance. I'm also hoping to work with other people so I can just get used to it. Its supposed to be really great on Sunday so that's the plan. How much are you loving the warmer temps coming? ... View the Post
