The first week of May is commonly known as National Small Business Week.
I am the type of person who always tries to shop at local small businesses before heading to our bigger more well-known stores brands. Think about giving back to the community and how this helps. I mean, when you shop at a small business, you are helping a family. You may not know it but you are.
In a couple of weeks, I’ll be headed down to Butler County, OH to visit and partake in some of the fun they have. In celebration of National Small Business Week, I want to share a couple of small businesses and hope I can get the chance to check them out when I head down.
Check out these small businesses in Butler County.
- Two Little Buds Florist: Wedding & Event design. I LOVE flowers! They raise the flowers themselves and create these beautiful bouquets that can only be called a work of art. They also offer Foral Workshops so you can learn how to do somethings on your own. You can find them here: 3431 Princeton Rd Hamilton, OH
- Karma in the Kitchen: Do you love chocolate? So do I! Karma Decker makes some delicious chocolates and would love for you to try her delicious chocolates. You can visit the shop here: 8779B Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Olde West Chester, OH.
- First Ward Wood Company: custom furniture shop located in Hamilton Ohio’s historic First Ward. Who wouldn’t want a beautiful table like the one above in their house? I mean seriously, check out their website and see the beautiful things they come up with. You can find them here: 216 Main Street Hamilton Ohio.
Even if you can’t head to Butler County to check out these places, make sure you check out their websites. Remember, shopping small business means you are supporting families like your own. Be on the lookout for my fun weekend I’ll be spending in Butler County OH.
