My family and I were sent the Design & Drill Sock it to Me set to play and review. No other compensation has been received. All opinions are my own.
Everyone knows I have 2 boys. And they are definitely boys. They love talking about cars with their dad and love to try and help him fix things. I can fix some things, but I try not to mess with most things because I’m afraid that I’ll break it. Don’t worry, I’m self sufficient but I love that my husband tries to be hands on and shows the boys.

The Design & Drill Socket to Me set helps children develop their fine motor skills and promotes creativity. The set includes 4 Hands-on construction projects with different colors bolts and a socket wrench. You have your choice of designing a boat, robot, race car, or rocket.

Hayden took right to designing very quickly. He understood how the socket wrench worked and start designing a robot right away. He made all of it look easy. Noah has a little bit of trouble using the socket wrench. He did ok getting the bolts on but once they were too hard to screw down with your hands, he tried the socket wrench. It took a couple tries to get him to understand how it worked. He also didn’t realize how to switch it to take the bolts out. I personally think Noah did great based on his age. He’s 3 and the set is recommended or ages 4+. I believe your child should be able to play with most of it (without the socket wrench) and still have fun.
