Why I enjoy visiting Westerville OH

I’ve lived in Columbus since I was 15 years old.

I finished my last years of high school here, I grew up. I met my husband, I made a life for him and myself. I’ve had time to learn about what I love and dislike about Columbus and its surrounding communities. Want to know what my favorite area is?

My favorite place to visit and hang out is Westerville OH.

I don’t live in Westerville but a couple times out of the month, you can probably find my family there. There are some places we make sure to visit and I wanted to share that with you. Planning to buy house in Columbus Ohio? Then you’ll love these places to hang out.

Why I enjoy visiting Westerville OH

We love the parks!

One of our favorite parks to visit is Inniswood Metro Park. As a photographer, it is one of my favorite places to recommend to take pictures. So many flowers and plenty of places for children to play.

The Food!

I don’t know about you, but I love to eat. So we like to try many different restaurants. Our hometown favorites: Rusty Bucket and Old Bag of Nails. Both have delicious food and plenty of items on their menu for children. Old Bag of Nails makes the best clam chowder! As also like to stop at Smashburgers for a good burger every once in a while.

Nightlife!

When my husband and I like to go out, we don’t do clubs or anything. We like to do a little wine tasting! Westerville is the home to 2 of my favorite wine places! Want a place who makes their own? Then Good Vibes Winery is for you! Looking for a place where you can try a ton of different wines? Then I recommend Meza Wine Shop. Both a perfect for a quiet night out or even a ladies night!

    This park is beautiful. I would love to live next to this park. I need to check out if HER has anything listed close to it!

    i was just in westerville for the first time a few weeks ago and thought the area was beautiful, not too far from downtown columbus (although traffic was bad in some part). the botanical gardens, by far, are breath taking and great for children to take walks.

    I love Westerville. But I would buy in the Worthington area. We have been living there for 10 years and all the kids attend Worthington Schools.

    I'm not super picky about the specific area of Columbus, as long as it's safe & looks nice I suppose. I basically grew up in Whitehall, I've since gone to college in South Carolina, then I moved to California where my husband was stationed followed by a move to North Carolina. Then I ended up back in a less than desirable Ohio location(small village, total Columbus opposite!) We(my mom & I) want nothing more than to get back to the Columbus area!
