When you feel like you can’t push any further

July 13, 2017 by Ashley T

This is a post sponsored by Nutrisystem. I am a part of the #NsNation Blogger Program. All opinions are my own.

Just for the record, I’m not giving up on weight loss. I’m not giving up on making it to at least one of my goals. I can’t. I have to make it for myself. I have to know I can do it.

That doesn’t mean that I don’t feel like I can’t do it this week.

I’ve been doing pretty well keeping on my diet, and working to get to my goals I outlined last week. I think I’m doing awesome. But I’m getting worn down. I’m getting tired. I’m getting to the point where I just want to eat something and not pay attention to how many calories are it in or how many veggies I’m eating.

Last week, I did pretty well. Here are my stat updates:

UPDATE ON MY WEIGHT LOSS (AS OF MONDAY, JULY 10th)

CURRENT WEIGHTLOSS THIS WEEK ON NUTRISYSTEM: 3.2 LBS

TOTAL WEIGHTLOSS OVERALL: 31.2 LBS

ORIGINAL WEIGHT: 186.2 LBS. CURRENT WEIGHT: 155 LBS

This week, I had a small chocolate milkshake. Yes, I love milkshakes. I shouldn’t have ordered it. I should have ordered a small cup of sorbet because it’s better for me. It still has sugar but no milk, fewer calories, lots of fruit. But I didn’t. I was feeling like crap and just wanted that milkshake comfort.

So, now I’m trying to motivate myself to get back into the gym and win these last couple of weeks. With the traveling I’ve been doing, I haven’t been to the gym as much as I used to. And it is hard to get back into it after being out for so long. I went once last week but I need to get back into 3 times a week. I need to push myself.

I’m ready to make my goal, I just need to make sure I keep my eye on the prize.
