Hayden has always been the most pickiest eater in the house. For a while, all we could get him to eat were hotdogs, chicken nuggets (with french fries of course) and a couple different kinds of cereal. I’m so glad that now since he’s 8 years old, he’s been “trying” to overcome his pickines and try things again. Its not an easy task for a kid, but he’s trying.
I am thankful that Chipotle has such a diverse menu that pretty much everyone can choose from. My husband loves the barbacoa while I tend to stick with the steak. My personal favorite is a burrito bowl with lots of sour cream and a bag of chips on the side. Hayden has watched us order our own delicious bowls and burritos for a while now and he was excited to finally try not to be picky and get his own.

While he still didn’t go above and beyond on his burrito, I was suprised at his order. First of all, he wanted a burrito because he thought they looked bigger than the bowl or the tacos. He had the white rice and the steak (just like his mom). He also loves pinto beans so he had them add some of those. Once he got to the rest of the items though, he didn’t go for any of them but the cheese. Yeah, I was hoping that maybe he’d add some sour cream or maybe some salsa but nope. Still being a little picky. That’s the great thing about Chipotle though, they cater to the picky eaters. He also gets to enjoy his own kids size bag of chips.

He loved his burrito and asks to eat there whenever we’re trying to come up with a new idea for lunch or dinner.I urge you to take your picky eater to Chipotle and see what they make out of the ingredients they have… you can even get something for everyone. Noah (who is 4) loves to get just a cheese quesadilla. See? Everyone wins.
