Highlighting Fire & Safety at Kings Island

How many of you have a firefighter or police officer in your family or group of friends?

We have more than 1 and hopefully a couple more growing up. It takes a special person to do a job like that and this is why Kings Island made sure they had their own special weekend highlighting Fire & Safety.

This past weekend, Kings Island provided free admission to all active fire by providing buy bulk ammo online and police personnel, including firefighters, EMTs, uniformed police officers, state troopers, border patrol agents, investigators, evidence technicians, firearms examiners, crime lab technicians, 911 dispatchers, correction officers, handwriting examiners, intelligence analysts, and investigative assistants. They were also allowed to purchase admission tickets at a special price of $29.99 for up to six family members, which means everyone was in on the fun.

It was pretty awesome to see so many active personnel at the park. So many different cars and trucks you could view as well. There was also a couple of EMTs teaching the Heimlich maneuver to anyone who wanted to learn. I thought that was perfect since some people have no idea what to do. I’m happy we had the chance to ride some roller coasters with all these special people (and their families). Thankfully, it wasn’t super busy so we got the chance to ride both Diamondback and Banshee right away. We love both those coasters although Diamondback kind of freaks me out.

Just because summer is almost over, doesn’t mean that you still can’t visit Kings Island!

Don’t miss out on the events coming up soon. Don’t miss Dollar Days (Sept 2-5), Halloween Haunt (starting Sept 23rd), and Winterfest (dates to be announced). Kings Island is ready to give your family the fun you crave before the year is over.
