Anytime I’m hosting Easter, I worry about making sure I don’t forget a specific item that any member of the family loves. Not only that, but I also spend so much time in the kitchen instead of being with my family. One Christmas, I took turns between cooking and taking care of my son once I started. It sucked.
This year, I decided to have a little bit of help from HoneyBaked Ham. I took Noah with me (he loved the store) and set out to get a ham and a couple of sides to make my job easier. There was an employee to help me decide what size ham I should get and Noah helped me pick out some sides.
The ham is a decent size for our family. And it smells great, even cold. Noah decided all he wanted was a side of mac and cheese. Because he’s 3. So I made the decision to add a couple more, including some cornbread dressing. Yum! As you can see, all the sides are “heat and serve” so I don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen prepping. That’s perfect because I would love to spend as much time with my boys as I can.
As I began to ring everything out, the employee helping me mentioned the turkey. I had forgotten that HoneyBaked Ham carried turkey! The moist, tender Turkey Breast, coated with the same sweet, crunchy glaze as HoneyBaked’s signature Ham. So of course I’m going to get some. I could decide if I wanted to save it for Easter and pair it with the ham, or enjoy some right away.. so I did half and half… froze some for easter but even had a little snack of turkey when I got home. It was so delicious! My husband even had a sandwich when he got home from work and enjoyed it just as much as I did. Doesn’t it look delicious?
