One of the reasons that I have had a smart phone for the past couple of years is because I love the ability to connect with pretty much everything from my phone. I love the fact that I can tweet and FB from my phone but also keep myself entertained in those awkward moments when you have no where to look but your lap. Well, this past weekend, I spend a large amount of time in the car traveling with my husband and friend to Cedar Point and let me tell you how the Samsung Galaxy III helped us make great use of that time.
First of all, we are people who love music. I have some music on my phone but my husband has everything in his google music app… all over 11,000 songs. The problem is that 3G doesn’t do the best job of streaming music so it starts and stops a lot. Good thing I had my Galaxy.. I just turned on the hot spot and we had an enless flow of music. Why? The Galaxy is on 4G lte which is tons faster then 3G. Now, I will tell you it isn’t perfect, because we did lose 4G lte signal at times since the road to Cedar Point isn’t all highway and large cities. It did its job though.
Once we moved past the music, I decided to show my friend some videos on YouTube that I find hilarious. With the huge screen and awesome video quality, it was no problem. I had her laughing the whole time we were stuck in traffic. I even took this picture of the video quality while watching “Make it or Break it”… maybe I was watching it at work, maybe I wasn’t. Either way, it was like having a small TV in my lap.
Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Moms program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
