Have a growing family? Maybe you are looking to cut back on the size of your car because your children are growing up and moving out? Either way, you have to decide what size and type of car you’d like to drive around and of course feel comfortable in. Sometimes, its not as easy as you’d think. But hopefully I can make it slightly easier for you.
There are *blank* people in our family. However, at any time, how many people would I need to fit into my car?
You can plan on having your own family in your car at the most but what happens when you have to take the kids to the park and they want their friends to go with them? This has happened to me. We currently own 2 sedans so we can only fit 5 people in each car at a time. Anytime there is an extra person, it means we need to take both cars. This is why we plan on getting an SUV soon. I mean even a Minivan would be great. I found some great models at DCH of Temecula.
Maybe you don’t have this problem but right now, you have a mini-van just to carry yourself. So, what do you downgrade to? If you still want to sit up high, a smaller SUV would work or maybe a truck. But if the size doesn’t matter, the smaller the car, the less you are spending. A microcar would work great but a sedan would work as well. It just depends on what you feel comfortable with.
Don’t forget to get what you want! If I was downgrading, I would choose something with everything I loved, like a sunroof, Apple Carplay or leather seats. A smaller car means spending more on the extras.
Your job is to think this over and choose what works best for your family.
