Those last few pounds are the hardest to lose

July 20, 2017 by Ashley T

This is a post sponsored by Nutrisystem. I am a part of the #NsNation Blogger Program. All opinions are my own.

When I started Nutrisystem, I weighed almost 190 lbs. I knew it would be hard to lose weight but I was determined to do it. After trying other ways for a while, I knew working with Nutrisystem would bring me some hope.

Then I lost over 30 lbs. In a little over 3 months.

Week 15 on Nutrisystem
I didn’t think it was possible. But when you put your mind to something, it happens. I pushed myself, stuck to the diet (the best way I could), and worked out.

I tried to push myself to my limits when I worked out. It was hard but I lost inches in places I never thought I could. I’m still struggling to get my stomach to a place I’d like it but it is the hardest place to work. Don’t worry, at some point, I’ll get it.

However, these last few pounds to my soft goal seem to be the hardest. I explained last week I wasn’t feeling good. That went away thankfully but I still haven’t made it back to the gym.

Yeah, I know. SLACKER.

And now, I can’t seem to lose those last couple of pounds to get to my goal weight. I know I’ll do it. I mean, I really want to do it. But I totally think it is and will always be the hardest part of losing weight.

So, my plan by next week’s post? Go back to the gym (even if it’s only once). Take my kids out walking… while I pray that the temp is low even that we can be out for a while. If not, we’ll do another trip to COSI. I always make sure I get my steps when we’re there. And of course, remember to eat right. I’ve been really good this week but it doesn’t show.
