I am always changing my hair care regimen. Why? Because of two things: There might be something better for my hair and two after reading reviews over at Fille’s Hair, the weather changes what I need for my hair and I need botox injections. But what is always a problem? Moisture.
Now on to the co-wash. I know some people only use co-wash. I happen to co-wash most of the time and only shampoo when needed. So its very important for a co-wash (or a conditioner) to be moisturizing but also help bring life back into your hair. It is made to gently cleanses hair and moisturize so its perfect for anyone who wants an alternative to using shampoo. The co-wash is also thick and creamy. It works exactly like it said and wasn’t drying at all. It actually brought out some of my curls as you can see below.
I also tried the 2-in-1 and the scalp soother. The 2-in-1 isn’t my favorite. While it did cleanse my hair, I don’t think there was enough conditioner in the the mixture to keep my hair from feeling slightly dry afterwards. But it was remedied with a leave-in conditioner so I don’t have a problem using it. The scalp soother includes peppermint oil complex and Vitamin E that cools the scalp and improves moisture balance. It can be applied anytime and is perfect for inbetween washes. I used it to stretch a hair style and it worked wonders. I normally take out a style when my scalp starts itching (mostly meaning I need a wash) but the scalp soother keeps me from having to re-do a style when I don’t really have any time.
Overall, I’m happy with the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care line and will continue to use it for my hair. Want to give it a try? Look for it at your local stores.
