Everyone has their own New Years Resolutions. I mean, wrote all mine down and already have a plan in mind for all of them. But do any of them include your car? I mean I’m sure someone (namely my husband but also me) has picked out the perfect car. I mean, who wouldn’t want a brand new Kia from Metro Kia? I’ve been thinking about a 2017 Kia Sorento for a while now. However, you must think about your current car and what must be done to keep it up to date.
- Set up your schedule for your oil changes: Every 3 months or 3,000 miles. That’s the rule! Going any long than that can mess up your engine and if you are like me and plan on keeping your car for a while (even if you don’t want to) you’ll want to keep it up.
- Pamper your car: As you take car of yourself, take car of your car. Plan a day to clean every part of your car (even the inside) so your car can feel pretty too.
- Check that Check engine light: It isn’t just a “hey, you might want to check your engine sometime soon” light. It’s a “Something is wrong and get this checked asap” light. Literally.
- Your oil isn’t the only thing that needs to be checked/changed: Make sure you check all your fluid levels to see if they need to be changed or topped off. I hate when it’s the middle of winter and you run out of washer fluid. Worst thing ever.
