I’ve been sharing an SUV or 2 a month to gear up for our switch from a car to an SUV. Obviously, we are still in the information faze. I’m definitely not ready to buy. However, I love being able to check out all the newer cars and share them with you.
The 2018 versions started appearing earlier this year. I’ve finally gotten the chance to take a look at the 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude SUV. As always, there are things I like and things I love. But always things I think are a must when it comes to searching for a car. Thanks to Legacy:
Here’s an overview of the 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude SUV
The 2018 Jeep Cherokee Latitude SUV seats 5 with more space than a conventional car. The specific one I’m looking at has a 3.2L V6 24V VVT engine. Gas mileage is pretty good for an SUV: 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. The 15.8 gal tank will get you going.

Another thing that is super important to me: Safety.
This SUV has all the basic safety elements but it’s the extras that put me over the top. In a bigger car (just to be safe), I believe in the backup camera. Parkview makes it easy for you to back up safely. Don’t forget about the warranty. The basic warranty lasts 36 months/36,000 miles. The powertrain and corrosion perforation warranty are both 60 months/60,000 miles.
I’m excited about the improvements made in SUVs these days. What’s your favorite feature?
