Pretending with the Sea Squad! (ends 10/30)

October 14, 2013 by Ashley T

Thanks to Educational Insights, my family got the chance to review these items listed below. Our opinions are our own.

I’m always looking for toys to promote my children’s creativity. The only thing I notice that they play for hours is their cars and I don’t mind that but I feel they need plenty of outlets to get the job done. In comes Brent Geppert, who invented The Sea Squad: puppets on a stick.

The Sea Squad

We got to meet Dipper the Octopus, Flipper the Anglerfish, Chomper the Shark and Bob the clam: the puppets in The Sea Squad. Check out what Educational Insights has to say about these cute puppets:

Children will flip over these silly creatures from the sea as they dive into worlds of dramatic play, while developing communication skills and practicing real and imaginary dialogue! Pretend play and puppet shows become a splash with these comical marine friends and story time is transformed into an adventure.
Our kid-approved, patent-pending design marries an easy-glide child-sized thumb lever and a chunky, secondary knob, giving kids (and adults who need a good giggle) two ways to articulate each puppet’s mouth. Built to last through many childhoods, each puppet’s soft-touch molded body reinforce our hallmark Educational Insights quality standard.

The Sea Squad

The boys were super excited to play with them as soon as they laid their eyes on the box. Noah isn’t quite 3 (his birthday is in less than a month) and he didn’t need help at all explaining how to use it. I love that there are 2 ways to make the puppet talk. Makes it easy for any age to work the puppet. See below:

The Sea Squad

Both boys took to it quickly and have fun with it everyday. There have been days where Noah just follows me around with one trying to bite me and there are other days when they take their time and put on a show. I finally got the chance to catch one of their shows and wanted to share with you guys!

If you’d like to buy The sea Squad, you can purchase them from Educational Insights or you can purchase them on Amazon. Or you can get your chance to win them here! Fill out the Giveaway Tools form below to enter. The giveaway ends October 30th 2013, 11:59pm est and is open to the US and Canada.
