Does the title sound confusing? Cause that’s all I could think of to name this recipe. Unfortunately, I’m not very creative after I make something that turns out to be delicious but have to come up with a name for it. The other day, I was a little tired of the same ole things for dinner so I looked in my freezer and pantry and threw together some things that I knew I loved and hoped it would end up delicious. Not only did I enjoy it, but both Hayden and Noah did as well. Noah has been a super picky eater lately so this was a win! It super easy and doesn’t take a whole lot of prep time so enjoy and add what you like!
Bacon Chicken Bake
- 3-5 boneless chicken breasts (cut in half)
- a can of cream of chicken
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup Bacon (add what you’d like)
- 1/2 cup cheese
- pepper as needed
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix the cream of chicken, milk and bacon together. Place the chicken at the bottom of the baking dish. Pepper the chicken as needed. Pour the mixture overtop of the chicken. The chicken doesn’t need to be completely covered.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake for an hour or until the chicken is fully cooked. Serve over rice.
*The extra liquid can be used as a “gravy”. It contains the bacon and has a delicious flavor.*
Let me know if you try it or if you add something to it. Next time I make it, the plan is to add some veggies.. probably peas. Yum!
