“I love this dip and there are many different recipes for it, but as I have tested and tried them this is the best one! This recipe can turn out to be a little hot/spicy so it may be better just for adults.”
Spicy Buffalo Dip
Ingredients:
5 chicken strips (or 2 chicken breasts)
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 cup hot sauce (I use Frank’s Red Hot sauce)
1 – 8oz. package of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup Ranch salad dressing
Instructions:
Cook chicken in pan on stove over medium heat with olive oil.
Shred chicken. I do this using my Vitamix on level 3 using the tamper press. Otherwise, using two forks will work.
Return chicken to pan and mix in hot sauce.
Add cream cheese and ranch until blended smooth.
Once blended mix in cheese until melted.
Pour dip in slowcooker and turn on low heat. (Monitor dip to ensure it does not burn in the slowcooker.)
Tip: I buy the Pepper Jack flavored Tortilla chips to go with this dip and it is very, very good!”
