I currently own a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Believe it or not, I love it. It’s never given me any problems and fits all of us in it (at least at the moment). The one thing I always loved was that my brother in law (who is at least 6 ft tall) can sit in the back seat comfortably.
The 2020 Hyundai Elantra has come a long way since it was redesigned in the 2013 model.

Of course, the body definitely looks like it was changed. It isn’t as round as it was before but it feels more “grown-up” if you can imagine. I love the wheels in the one above.
Here are some upgrades in the 2020 Hyundai Elantra from my car:
- Remote keyless entry
- Blind spot sensor
- Lane departure
- Apple Carplay
- Exterior parking camera rear
It still has the same great gas mileage: 28.0/37.0 mpg City/Hwy. I mean, getting this car is a great way to save gas. I do pretty great saving gas when I really want to. Don’t worry about spending too much on gas at all.
The warranty has changed since our purchase but it still is pretty great:
- Basic warranty: 60 months/60,000miles
- Powertrain warranty: 120 months/100,000miles
- Corrosion perforation warranty: 84 months/ unlimited distance
- Roadside assistance coverage: 60 months/ unlimited distance
If you are looking for a new entry-level car, look no further than the 2020 Hyundai Elantra. Great space for your family. Great gas mileage. A sporty look just in case you don’t want to seem like a mom all the time; just ignore the car seats in the back and drive on mama!
