I replaced all 4 tires on my car a couple months ago and also had a wheel alignment done. I always make sure I have it scheduled when I replace my tires. Why? Because it is recommended. But I never actually knew why.
Do you know what a wheel alignment is?

If you haven’t replaced your tires recently, do you know if your tires need to be aligned? There are a few sure signs that you need to have your alignment checked:
- Uneven tread wear
- The Vehicle pulling either left or right
- Steering wheel off center while driving
- Steering Wheel Vibration
You never know if your car is out of alignment. But anytime you hit a bump, you could throw your tires out of alignment. One bump may not knock it out but a year’s worth might knock it all out of wack. It is recommended to get your alignment checked annually just to make sure your tires are ok. And you definitely should have it done when you buy new tires so they don’t immediately start to wear unevenly.
The perfect time to get an alignment is when you see a special. For instance, Thompson Chrysler has a “PotHole” special: this includes an alignment, tire rotation and balance. Search for the perfect deal and take your car in today.
