Last year, I completed one of the most important things on my bucket list: I became a stay-at-home/ work-at-home mom. This was something my husband knew I wanted for years and last year was finally the year we were able to do it. Now that I am able to stay home with the kids and work my own hours, I have to make some new goals for myself.
I’ve only been to 2 conferences and I loved both of them. It was great to learn such much about my craft from veterans and I want to reach out and grow more. Grow my Photography Business
This is something that takes time, I know. I have so much fun with it and I hope people see that. I also need to get my own family photos done so that’s on my calendar for the year as well.
Gain More readers
This is always something I’m working on. But this is why a blog must always change and adapt. I just want to make it more me… and I’m sure the more I express me, the more people will understand me. That’s easy enough, right?
Have more fun with my boys
Now that I’m home and am able to pick up the boys, take them to their schools and get them to their practices/games, I want to make sure we do more fun things as well. I have always been a home-body so I’m trying to grow out of it and introduce my boys to what the world can offer.
Read More Books
I used to LOVE to read all the time! Now, I struggle to get through a book because there is always something going on. I’m trying to take a night as just read.. anything really. Hopefully, I can get through at least 2 books a month and enjoy everyone.
Buy a House
This is something that my husband and I have been working on for a couple of months. We owned a house once and had to sell it. After renting for a couple of years, we’re back to the point where we just want to have one of our own. As I said, we’ve been preparing so this is our year. Everything is in place for us to buy a house this year, possibly using a HER Realtor.
Have another Baby
This is also something that we’ve been working on for a couple of months (hehehe). We always agreed that we wanted 3 children and at least one girl so we’re hoping to be blessed with a child soon.
