Have you updated your phone to ios10 yet?
To those of you who have android phones, you may not have any idea what I’m talking about. But us iPhone users have been wondering what changes Apple made to the iPhone this time. I have to admit, I wasn’t too happy with some of the changes considering it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to take a picture without unlocking my phone.
However, I learned the other day something pretty cool. I went out to an event that you’ll hear about pretty soon and turned off my car. I always let my phone disconnect from Bluetooth on its own so I never really pay attention to the screen. However, I glanced at my phone as saw this:
What happens?
Well, after your phone disconnects from the Bluetooth, it drops a pin on the Maps app so that you can find your car.Once the notification pops up, you can tap it to go directly to Maps where you’ll see a parked car icon. You can edit details in the info sheet of the location to say…add a photo or write a note to help guide you back to your vehicle. As long as you aren’t at home, you’ll be able to find your car. No more walking the mall parking lot for hours because you can’t quite remember where you left your car during the busy holiday season.
So make sure you connect your iPhone to your car or truck that is enabled with Bluetooth and take a drive. I’m not one to lose my car very often but my husband doesn’t always remember where he left it. This will definitely come in handy with our family. I hope it helps yours as well.
