*Warning: This post will be very photo heavy*
If you haven’t been with me long, you have to know what I am a taker of photos. I have been working on getting better but in the past year kind of lost my “passion” I would say so I’ve been picking my camera back up the last month or so and doing what I love. This past Saturday, I took my boys to the Inniswood Metro Gardens which is not that far from our house. There isn’t really much to do for the boys but its a lovely garden to walk through and perfect for a wedding. We actually saw a bride and groom while we were there taking their wedding photos but stayed away so we didn’t mess them up.
There is so much beauty in nature, don’t you agree? So, take a walk through the Inniswood Metro Gardens with me and tell me what you think.
First stop: Taking a walk past the flower garden. I think this is the perfect place for a wedding. It was kind of muddy today since it had rained pretty much all morning but still really beautiful. We then stopped in the herb garden, which smelled delicious! I wish I knew more about herbs so I would have understood it better. All I know is that it smelled great. Obviously the bees thought to too.
My husband is allergic to bees so we didn’t get very close. On our way out of the herb garden, there was a little cottage with informaton about the herbs and who sponsored the garden.I caught this shot before moving on.
Apparently I’m not allowed to be artistic or anything because Noah took it upon himself to speed up the process…
My husband had taken the boys through here for a walk before so when they boys realized we were getting close to the treehouse that was built, they got excited. I had to slow them down some because we can’t pass by all the beauty! This is when I told them to relax…
And take a look at the flowers.
The secret garden was my favorite one to check out. Most of the walls had saying on them about the flowers and about nature. This one was my favorite.
Once we got to the treehouse, all was right with the world.
I took so many more photos but couldn’t post them all, we had so much fun and the boys were so tired after we finished. What is your favorite place to take pictures, whether its of people or of nature?
