I was invited to the Hot Mama store at Easton for review purposes and was compensated. All opinions below are my own.
Update: Hot Mama is now EverEve. The name was changed after the review went live.
How often do you go shopping and feel empowered afterwards? Its not very often to me. And I pride myself on trying not to complain when doing anything because I just hate to do it. I’ve always had issues trying to find clothes that I love but also fit the best way possible. After having 2 children, I am NOT the size I was in high school and I know I will never get back there. But that doesn’t mean I can’t look my best in the skin I’m in.
The first time I visited the Hot Mama store, I was immediately greeted by someone. This is one thing that I feel every business should do. It makes everyone feel welcome. Hot Mama’s Core Purpose is to Empower moms, and I definately left there feeling empowered.

I was greeted by the manager Bre and was told what the store is all about. Did you know what 84% of moms admit that they let their appearance slide since becoming a mom? This is why it is their mission to make moms feel “Hot”. But what does it mean to make a mom feel hot?
- Bringing confidence back to moms
- Helping moms embrace what they already have
- Allowing moms to find themselves again
- Practicing a playful attitude towards “hotness”
- Taking small fashion risks with moms
- Changing vocabulary to positive (focusing on assets rather than flaws)
Let me show you how this happened. Hot Mama takes the personal approach to shopping: personal shopping. Bre already had a couple of outfits set out for me to try on but before I started (and during the entire experience) she was out grabbing more things that would work for me. I was excited to get the first outfit on.

I will say (and I told Bre this) that when I first put on the pants, I didn’t like them. However, the whole outfit flows together perfectly. The top flow and fit great. The jacket was to die for. And those shoes were my favorite! There were made by Dr. Scholls and I felt like I could wear them all day, even though I’m not a heel person. But everyone needs a pair of wedges in their lives.

Ok, super cute right? This is what I mean about the personalized shopping. I walked out with this outfit and Bre knew the scarf would go great with the whole outfit. I look fabulous don’t I?

Where can you go wrong with a great pair of skinny jeans and a comfy top? No where! This one by far was my favorite outfit. Yes, its probably something that I would normally wear (sadly) but I felt like it was perfect. I loved the fit of the top. It wasn’t tight at all and fit to hide my flaws. I could totally wear the scarf the way it is or wrap it around my hair for another style.
I can’t wait to head back to the store again to see what’s new and what I’d love. I am so thankful that they always take the time to help their customers out because there is no way that I would have made some of these choices myself. Have you found your inner “Hot Mama” yet?
*Special thanks to Bethany for taking the pictures for me… and to Easton for setting this up for me.

I’m working on finding my inner “Hot Mama. I’ll admit I find shopping horrifying ever since having kids. I’m hoping a few more months at the gym & sticking to my new eating plan will help! You look fab btw. 🙂
Thank you Lisa!
