Earlier this year, I started my photography business. I felt like this was something I’d have fun with, and I do. I love catching famiy moments and being able to share them with the families. I finally got the chance to do a new session for one of my best friends… who I did a family session for way before I wanted to get more professional. My first attempted at a hired photographer was fun. Back in 2011, all I had was a point and shoot camera, but it was one of the more expensive ones. I wanted all the options I could find before I picked up a DSLR. We still own that camera and I miss it, but I love my Nikon.
My friend Kim has a nice area in her backyard where there is plenty of trees and grass so it was a beautiful spot to get some photos of the kids.
