Thankgiving is a time we are thankful for all and come together to celebrate. However, we can’t forget about the other members of our family: our pets. Specifically, the puppies in our lives. We are thankful for our newest member Koko, whom we adopted from my mom this past summer. She’s been a joy in our lives since we first met her so of course she’s a part of our family. Aside from giving her human food, we love to give her treats occationally that are good for her and that she loves.

I made a simple and easy treat bag to give to her on Thanksgiving filled with Big Heart Pet Brands pet treats. Koko happens to love the Milk-bone brand MaroSnacks (with real bone marrow in the inside) so they are perfect for the treat bags. Koko doesn’t know this but they are rich in calcium to help maintain strong teeth and bones so they are good for her as well. By the way, these bags are simple and you can invite your children to help out as well.

Step 1: Put the treats into the treat bags. You can add as many as you want.
Step 2: Cut a piece of cardstock and fold over so that it will cover the opening of the bags.
Step 3: Staple the cardstock to the bag to keep it closed.

Step 5: Decorate the rest of the treat bag with the Sharpie markers.
