This is a sponsored post brought to you by the Ohio State Fair.
Going to the fair is a fun summer tradition for many people. There’s something about all the different kinds of food available that makes it so much fun to eat! Whether you’re in the mood for some deep-fried goodness or something a little more traditional, there’s sure to be something on offer that will appeal to you. So why not head down to your local fair and indulge in some tasty treats? You won’t regret it!
Fried Foods Are A Must
No trip to the fair would be complete without indulging in some fried foods! From fried Oreos to fried Twinkies, there’s something for everyone. If you’re feeling brave, why not try a deep-fried candy bar? Or if you’re looking for something a little more savory, how about some fried chicken or french fries? Whatever you choose, you’re sure to enjoy it!
One of our favorites? Deep fried Buckeyes!

Ice Cream Is Always A Good Choice
There’s nothing quite like refreshing ice cream on a hot summer day. And luckily, most fairs have plenty of ice cream stands to choose from! Whether you’re in the mood for a classic flavor like vanilla or chocolate, or something a little more adventurous like mint chocolate chip or strawberry, you’re sure to find something that you’ll enjoy.
I always look out for the pineapple dole station when I get the chance. It’s one of my favorites that I can’t always enjoy every day.
Burgers And Hot Dogs Are Classic
If you’re looking for something a little more substantial, then you can’t go wrong with a classic burger or hot dog from one of the many concession stands at the fair. These hearty meals are sure to fill you up, and they’re usually pretty reasonably priced too!
Even if you enjoy the classics, there are ways to spice it up. I love a good bucket of french fries but what about Philly steak fries?

Take A Sip Of Everything
Just like food, you can find a variety of drinks as well. One of our favorite stops is Wild Bill’s Soda for some Birch Beer. I don’t like root beer but I always make sure to get one of those metal cups filled with delicious birch beer. If I’m in a good mood, I’ll share.

You can always get a cup of lemonade.. the kids love them! Get the large cup and get refills all day. And of course, drink water while it’s hot!
Be Sure To Try Something New
One of the best things about the fair is that there’s always something new to try. Whether it’s a new food or a new ride, there’s always something to keep you entertained. So even if you’ve been to the fair before, be sure to check out what’s new this year! You might just find your new favorite thing.
We always find something new that we’ve never seen before at the fair. But I love going shopping for something unique. There are always vendors selling things so I have to browse.
