My husband and I love that new car smell. I remember trying to keep a hold of that smell for as long as I could. But after a while, the new car smell that was invading your senses as soon as you picked it up from Brown’s Alfa Romeo disappears.
Sadly, you look for an air freshener that you like. Maybe even find something that you love but you hate spending extra money just to freshen your car. I am happy to show you how to quickly make an air freshener for your car.
Your air freshener will last about 30 days and I use things that you probably already have in your house. So there is a chance you won’t spend any more money! So let’s get started!
What do you need?
- Purex Crystals, whatever scent you like
- Bounce dryer sheets, whatever scent you like
- Ribbon
So how does this work?
You start with a dryer sheet. Fill the Purex crystals to the third line on the lid and pour in the middle of the dryer sheet. Pull the sides of the dryer sheet together and tie together with the ribbon. Make sure the ribbon is secure before using it so the crystals don’t get all over your car. Place somewhere in your car where it won’t be stepped on. This freshener will last for about a month.
