I was given passes to a screening to see Frozen 2 before it entered theaters. No other compensation was given. All opinions are my own.
I love Frozen. It is one of my favorite Disney Movies. “Let it Go” kind of annoys me now (as does most moms who’s children watch the movie all the time) but I still enjoy the movie. So, when I knew they were making Frozen 2, I was excited.
Where would Disney go with Frozen 2? I didn’t want to know right away, so I didn’t check any of the posts but here is an idea:

Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven leave Arendelle to travel to an ancient, autumn-bound forest of an enchanted land. They set out to find the origin of Elsa’s powers in order to save their kingdom.

My Review:
I had the chance to take my friend’s daughter to see the movie with me. I hadn’t read what the movie was about but I knew she wanted to see it and I had an extra ticket so why not! However, she was the perfect person to see the movie with. Some of the things the movie touched on are things she’s dealing with as a teenager and I’m glad I was able to share that with her.
The movie is deeper than the first one. While it will make you laugh and very deeply, it will make you think. The movie touches on going your own way, supporting one another, finding your place. It even talks about depression and pushing yourself to keep going.
You will definitely laugh. But I didn’t expect to cry. Once than once. Yes, it was that moving. I love Ana and Elsa’s relationship and hope that everyone gets how awesome their relationship is. Take your children to see the movie, they will love it as much as I did.
