Sleighbells are ringing, so listen up!
Even though spring is right around the corner, it’s never too late to jazz up your life with some holiday cheer. This post is not here to remind you of the stress and bustle that comes along with the season, but the community values and glad tidings that you can incorporate into everyday living.
Well, maybe we’ll include some great Christmas gift ideas while we’re at it. It’s never too early to get your Christmas shopping done.

Nature-Based Gifts
You can never start teaching your child about the beauty and sensibility of nature too early. What better way to begin than to incorporate it into their Christmas gifts? These gifts will be a hit if your child is already naturalistically-inclined.
One of our favorites is a catch-and-release aquarium. Not only is this aquarium animal-friendly, but it will give your little one a chance to observe briny biomes up close. You will need a net to catch the little sea critters, of course.
There are gifts for landlubbers, too, though; butterfly gardens or bird field guides can pique their interest as well. Just don’t forget the birdseed, either; your child should learn how to earn the trust of their new chirpy pals!
Easy-Bake Oven
Alright…this technically might be a toy, but still, it’s a practical gift that can 1) teach valuable practical skills and 2) potentially spark a passion for food in your little one. Easy-Bake Ovens have been a family favorite for generations now–it was initially introduced in 1963!–and under adult supervision, they can produce cherished memories alongside some tasty little treats. The original version used an incandescent bulb to bake the food, but the latest version uses heating akin to a convection oven.
While Easy-Bake Ovens are still mostly marketed towards little girls, little boys can also get in on the action. A gender-neutral version was introduced in 2012 after a young girl started a petition to include aspiring boy bakers.
Personalized Santa Videos
If you’re lucky enough to have children under the age of eight, chances are they still believe in the jolly man who lives at the North Pole. This magical phase doesn’t last that long, so why not take advantage of it while you can? Hire Santa can give your child a personalized video from Santa. Each video is custom-made, where Santa reads a letter written to your child and mentions them by name. These quality videos will convince even the most skeptical of kids that Santa is alive, real, and ready to give their holiday a little sparkle.
This post offers just a few gift ideas that could not only bring your children joy but unlock within them a curiosity about the world around them. There is no better time than Christmas to instill a sense of wonder in little ones. With all the whimsy surrounding the holiday, its lore, and its traditions, it’s easy to turn the holiday season from mundane to magic.
