I was given passes to preview the movie before its release. All opinions are my own.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting to see Incredibles 2 since the original came out in 2004. Yes, it has been 14 years since the Incredibles came out! I feel like it has been a lifetime. So when I found out the new movie was coming out, I seriously (and literally) jumped for joy. The original is a movie we watch with the kids often and now, we get to see this one as a family. Before I get to my review, check out the synopsis below:
Synopsis of Incredibles 2

In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. ~From Disney and Pixar
My Review
First of all, can I mention how the opening reminds me of Men in Black? I loved it.
So, I’m so glad they finally release this. It was amazing and I totally want to see it again (and again and again). I love how the covered Helen going back to work and leaving Bob home to take care of the kids. So many households are going through something like that and it’s important to show that the father can do just as well as a mother. Also, Bob killed it. I mean, the kids are alive and doing well, right?
Without spoiling the movie, you will feel for every character in this movie. You will laugh, you will feel their pain, and you might tear up a little. But you will also love it.
