Ever wish you could give back to your children’s teachers with whatever you can but can’t always come up with something to do for them?
This is something I’ve dealt with ever since Hayden started school.
I feel like anything I did wasn’t enough because they take care of our children, they teach our children and always do their best. When I was little, I wanted to be a teacher. I never really went that route but I feel like it gave me a better understanding of what teachers do for their children. I mean, our children our their children for the 9 (or so) months that the children are in school.
So when I was approached to recommend my boys’ school to receive breakfast from McDonald’s as a “Thank you” for everything they do, of course, I offered the information. McDonald’s wanted to recognize as many teachers in Central Ohio as they can for all the work they do.

We made it a surprise and the principal was the only one who knew about it.
This past Friday was a busy day for the elementary school: They not only had to learn but they do a Halloween parade and Halloween party afterward in every class. So the teachers were going to have a busy day. I helped pick up the food and get it into the teacher’s lounge. Set up was quick and the principal made an announcement over the PA system.
