I posted a bucket list back in 2015 for the year with very realistic goals. Most of those goals came true, I’m happy to say. However, I never made it to a conference because I was pregnant and it wasn’t as important anymore.
Creating a bucket list on my site helps me stay accountable. Yes, I said I didn’t believe in New Year’s resolutions but this is different. I’m not looking to have everything done this year. I just want to get them down so I can remember my plans and what I’ve love to complete with my family. So, make one yourself to complete in the next couple of years.

Plan a Small Vacation
The last time we went out of town for a vacation was when we went to St. Louis. Olivia was still in diapers, drinking formula. I don’t want to take a huge vacation, just a long weekend we can enjoy. North Carolina maybe? It would have to be something that we could drive to.
Plan a Trip to Disney
This has been on my bucket list for a while. But I wanted to make sure Olivia was old enough to remember everything. I thought maybe we’d go on a cruise next year but I’d rather take a vacation with the kids. So, hopefully we’ll be headed to Disney spring break 2020.
Work on my Photography Degree
I’ve been slowly working on the degree since I started back in to school back in 2016. My goal is to graduate in 2020 but I’m not sure that will happen. I can’t take classes full time. However, I only have 12 classes to complete. After taking a break this summer, I might be able to make that goal if I take 2 classes every semester until I’m done (with one semester taking 3). We’ll see how this semester goes first. I’m taking 3 classes now.
Get my best body back
I also did a wonderful job getting my weight down while I was on nutrisystem. Since I’ve gained some weight back, I just want to be healthy and lose about 20 lbs to get back to where I was. I’m not in a rush but I want to just keep it going. Taking breaks is what gets me. So, I’ve added 2-3 workout days into my schedule. Luckily, Olivia loves the daycare at the gym and Paul supports me.
Step out of my Comfort Zone
I don’t get out enough. I don’t hang out with other my age enough. I’m very introverted. So, my goal is to get out. Just do something. Hang out with people I interact with but don’t always get the chance to go out with. Be a better friend. All of that. I just need to do it!
I’m sure there are more things I want to have done this year (or within the next 2 years so I’ll update this list as I think of it. But I love that I can have reachable goals and keep myself accountable.
